KNITTED ART

A small gallery in Hampton, VIC has taken a different approach to art. By adorning the street with colourful wool wraps on objects that normally one would walk by without a second glance.
What fun !!!

GEE, IT'S A BEE. OR TWO, OR THREE

This busy little hive was to me testament that spring is definately here, and brought a smile to my face as I recalled my bee experience.
Many years ago when I was working for IKEA, I owned a bright yellow car. Upon finishing my shift, I walked to the staff car park with my co-workers and came across my yellow car covered in bee's. Our only option was to use the fire hose to try and move the bee's on. After shreiks of laughter and some of terror we managed to get me safely into the vehicle and on my way. I did break a few speed limits trying to blow the remainder off.
Imagine the giggles throughout the week when a cheeky co-worker would page me over the intercom during my shifts.
Bee-linda please report to the bedding section.
Bee-linda please report to the cafe.

SIMPLY IRRESISTABLE

I thank my lucky stars that I do not have a sweet tooth.
As I waited patiently at the back of the line on the pavement to get these photo's, the crowd peering into the window trying to make their choice were tormented by rows of sugar nirvana.

This post is for you Fanny.
Thankyou for being my daughter's surrogate mum on the other side of the world.

SPRING IN MELBOURNE

IS IT ANY WONDER THAT ARTISANS THE WORLD OVER LOOK TO NATURE
TO PROVIDE THE COLOURS AND TEXTURES TO CREATE THE VERY THINGS
THAT WE SURROUND OURSELVES WITH. MOTHER NATURE I SALUTE YOU.
